Acting on behalf of Wesleyan Assurance, we sold Computer House in Cheadle Hulme for approximately £3.7 million to Bluemantle, a local property development company. It was a complicated transaction which involved not only the freehold sale, but also negotiating a surrender of the lease from the existing tenant, at a reverse premium, to provide vacant possession.
Bluemantle are undertaking substantial refurbishment of the 35,000 sq ft building before seeking new occupiers and we are retained by them as letting agents.
