A new-build house, sitting in 2.45 acres, failed to sell following practical completion. We were appointed by a Bank to provide an opinion on market value.
The bank appointed an LPA receiver and we led and co-ordinated the marketing of the house. The existing agents were interviewed, the house was revalued and the agents reappointed on a performance fee basis. Completion of the sale took place four months later at a price in excess of the revaluation figure, which met the Bank's criteria.
