Matthews & Goodman Appoints New LLP Member to Launch Central England Capability
Matthews & Goodman has invited Bev Robinson to join the proprietary partnership and is pleased to announce her Membership of the LLP.
Operating out of Birmingham and covering the Midlands, Robinson has a broad professional capability which includes Expert Witness, Valuation Surveying and Property Receivership. Her proven expertise is underpinned by the fact that Robinson has achieved Fellowship status of the RICS, NARA and ARLA and is also a RICS Registered Valuer and a RICS Registered Property Receiver.
With over 30 years’ experience of property valuation and providing strategic advice in (property) receivership cases, Robinson’s extensive experience ranges from undertaking secured lending valuations and valuing assets in the retail, office, leisure and transport sectors, to being part of a management team which created an API management platform which acted as an interface between the banking and surveying professions. Her former clients have included organisations working in a wide range of sectors such as main corporate banks, challenger banks and bridging companies.
Prior to joining Matthews & Goodman, Robinson was a Member Partner of Scanlans Consultant Surveyors – a firm she had been with for over 21 years. She has also worked for HBSV (formerly Henry Butcher Surveyors) and the British Rail Property Board.
“Bev’s appointment marks an important milestone in the firm’s history “ said James Routledge, a Member of the LLP.
“Bev will add senior level capability and regional knowledge to our national Valuation, as well as other professional teams, and help leverage further growth in these areas.”
Commenting on her appointment Bev Robinson said "The attraction of joining the Matthews & Goodman team is two-fold: their willingness to invest in strengthening their national professional services capability and secondly, their culture of professionalism and always putting clients first. These are values which resonate very deeply with me.
“Having worked in the Birmingham area for over 30-years, I feel confident that together we will build a successful business based on providing clients with high value professional advice, underpinned by diligent implementation.”
A keen rugby fan, Bev is also a Derby County season ticket holder and an avid Olympics spectator.
