Interact Software Relocates to City Centre
Matthews & Goodman has advised Interact Software on the move of its UK headquarters from Altrincham to Windmill Green in Manchester city centre.
The firm, which provides rich digital workplace experiences for its customers and their employees, will take almost 13,000 sq ft at the new grade A office development on Mount Street.
The relocation was driven by the firms’ strong overseas growth and the desire for office space which better aligned with company values. Opportunities for collaboration, plus improved transport, business and leisure options for employees were key factors.
Redeveloped by FORE Partnership, Windmill Green is an innovative and collaborate workspace at the former London Scottish House. With a focus on sustainability, the development has already achieved BREEAM outstanding, WiredScore platinum and Cycle Score platinum ratings.
Simon Dance, CEO of Interact, said: “We were drawn to the sense of community that is being created at Windmill Green and the opportunities for collaboration that the state-of-the-art building offers."
David Laws, Partner at Matthews & Goodman, who advised Interact on the deal, commented: “This has been a fantastic project to be involved with. The core of the requirement was to identify and secure first-class workspace that can attract and retain the very best talent for Interact, in a property that is reflective of their brand and values."
