Land at Wrexham Industrial Estate Sold
Matthews & Goodman’s national business space team has acted on the sale of a 47-acre strategic employment site at Bryn Lane, Wrexham Industrial Estate, on behalf of Kingmoor Park Properties.
The site, which has outline planning consent for a 400,000 sq ft B8 storage and distribution warehouse, was sold to Chorley based commercial property and asset management company FI Real Estate Management. The purchase takes FIREM’s land holding in Wrexham to 85 acres.
Wrexham Industrial Estate covers more than 1,300 acres and is home to over 340 businesses across the automotive, aerospace, food, pharmaceuticals and engineering sectors, including Kellogg’s, Prysmian and Norbert Dentressangle,
David Newman from Matthews & Goodman’s national business space team advised Kingmoor Park Properties on the sale, from the provision of strategic assessment and marketing advice, to leading the sale negotiations.
Matthews & Goodman has previously advised Kingmoor Park Properties on other assets at Wrexham Industrial estate, including the sale of a 45-acre plot to Net World Sports, the sale of circa 6 acres to Etonbrook Andrews and the letting and subsequent investment sale of a 250,000 sq ft property.
