Matthews & Goodman Appointed as Agents at Liverpool Science Park

Matthews & Goodman, leading commercial property specialists, has been appointed as sole letting agents at Liverpool Science Park (LSP).

Located at the heart of Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool), LSP is now part of the new Sciontec Liverpool development company, jointly owned by the City Council, Universities and Bruntwood SciTech.

LSP provides over 120,000 sq ft of contemporary and flexible office space (from one desk to a hundred), as well as high-specification lab facilities. It has the ability to meet the needs of a wide range of companies, from large multi-national corporations, to micro company start-ups.

Opened in 2005, LSP is now home to an array of companies such as biomedical, science, health, digital, tech and creative businesses, located alongside professional services, education, engineering, energy and environmental specialists.

Leanne Katsande, Head of Commercial at LSP, said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Matthews & Goodman to fill up the last remaining suites within LSP, whilst building up a great pipeline of potential customers. Their proven track record gives us the reassurance that they will help us to generate leads and keep the Science Park at maximum capacity going forward”.

Lynn Haime, Partner at Matthews & Goodman, said: “LSP is one of KQ Liverpool cornerstones in terms of providing a creative and collaborative working environment between academics, entrepreneurs and blue chip companies, which is why we’re excited to partner with them and help find the right occupiers for their existing and forthcoming vacancies.”

LSP is conveniently positioned in between both the Liverpool John Moores and University of Liverpool campus’, as well as being in close proximity to the fantastic cultural institutions, bars and restaurants along Hope Street and the city’s major railway stations and main arterial transport links.

About LSP:

Liverpool Science Park (LSP) is home to a community of like-minded and ambitious innovators, developers and scientists, but it’s not just there to rent any space to anyone.

As well as having a gateway policy in place to ensure each company who joins can add a little something special to its community, LSP works with its customers to ensure they occupy the right space for them now and in the future.

LSP creates clusters of companies who complement one another, rather than compete. This means the community is built on people, with start-ups, blue-chips and everyone in between, all working alongside each other and creating opportunities that lead to incredible things.

Sciontec Liverpool, a spin-out company of Knowledge Quarter Liverpool (KQ Liverpool), recently took over the management of LSP under the leadership of Sciontec and KQ Liverpool CEO, Colin Sinclair.

LSP now falls under the line management of Sciontec Liverpool, which recently announced that Bruntwood SciTech were the preferred bidder to become a 25% shareholder in the development company, alongside University of Liverpool, Liverpool City Council and Liverpool John Moores University.
