Matthews & Goodman Appoint New PartnerMonday, August 14, 2017
Stewart Martin has been appointed as a Partner in Matthews & Goodman's Valuation team.
During his 30 years’ professional experience, Stewart has worked with most of the lending institutions operating within the UK, providing valuation advice through three economic cycles. Additionally, he has taken numerous appointments as Fixed Charge Receiver.
Stewart has been active in restructuring and workouts since the early 1990’s and is a Council Member of NARA (The Association of Property and Fixed Charge Receivers). His extensive experience in commercial property valuation has also been put to good use in a voluntary capacity to enhance the professionalism of the industry.
He joins a highly successful team whose established clients include all the major national banks, as well as some of the fastest growing challenger banks.
Commenting on his appointment James Hewetson, head of Matthews & Goodman’s national Valuation team said “Stewart’s considerable experience and unique skills sets will be a real asset to the team.
“In the battle for talent, it is rare to find that potent combination of professional expertise, experience and the people skills necessary to win and retain clients. In Stewart, we have an excellent mix of all three.
“I am confident he will make a valuable contribution to the Valuation team and the Firm.”
Stewart will be based in London but, like the rest of the team, will have a national remit.
