Waterman Group, a multidisciplinary property consultancy which focuses on the provision of sustainable solutions advice.


Faced with the prospect of simultaneous lease events for the company’s three key regional offices, the Board required specialist advice to help consolidate the Group’s (occupational) financial schedule.

We were instructed to ensure that Board’s financial and the Group’s corporate goals (brand, culture and business ethics) were met, as well as generate cost savings, improve efficiencies, enhance the workplace and facilitate the new work practice strategy.


Working with the landlords of each office, we met every aspect of the brief:

  • Leeds: acquired contemporary offices in a Grade II listed former canal side warehouse
  • Manchester: re-geared the existing lease and pre-determined the rent review to help cash flow planning and provide certainty on future costs
  • Sheffield: re-geared the lease and negotiated a reduction in floor space to accommodate the introduction of a new agile home-working strategy.
