Negotiate a break option and rent review on a substantial part of a floor, in a multi-let eight story building comprising 240,000 sq ft of offices.


As a result of an early appointment, we were able to:

  • Calculate the value of the break clause
  • Modelled a number of move options (based on the firm’s specific occupational as well as financial criteria)
  • Confirm that not moving was the best option for the firm
  • Negotiate a 15% saving on the landlord’s original demands.

The saving amounted to £375,000.
